PetsLoyal2Vets Breaks Ground September 20, 2013

We are happy to announce that the first step in phase 1 of renovating our new training center will break ground on Friday, September 20th with the help and support of members from Beyond The Yellow Ribbon South of The River group in Prior Lake, MN and RDO Equipment Company from Burnsville, MN.  Together, we will be trenching outside the building to lay 320 feet of drain tile, rock and frost barrier insulation to protect the new in floor radient heat system from outside elements.

The need for training specific dogs for specific veterans has never been greater and PetsLoyal2Vets new training center will eventually train and adopt 15 to 25 companion and therapy dogs per year to needy veterans across the state and at no cost to the veteran. We owe our vets another chance in life and offering those who qualify for a new companion or therapy dog may very well bring encouragement and hope to an otherwise hopeless situation.

We are very grateful for the efforts of Beyond The Yellow Ribbon South of The River group and RDO Equipment Company with their generous contributions of time and equipment and partnering with PetsLoyal2Vets on this project. Our facility will be truly a one of a kind training center for Minnesota veterans and homeless dogs offering services to disabled vets not offered before.

If your company or organization would like to get involved with saving the lives of Minnesota pets and Minnesota Vets, please contact Jeff LeBaron for details or visit the volunteer and sponsors page for further information.
