PetsLoyal2Vets Seeks Grants For Veteran Training Programs
PetsLoyal2Vets mission is to connect disabled Minnesota veterans treated for PTSD, TBI and physical assault traumas with trained dogs that will aid the veteran in their rehabilitation efforts. To accomplish this and meet the rapidly growing demands of veterans completing their VA Medical Center therapies, our trainers will work along side each veteran so that their specific needs are incorporated into the training process.
Many company’s in Minnesota offer community sponsorship and granting programs. Because of this, we are reaching out to everyone who reads this message to take a look at your company and let us know if they offer funding for non-profit and veteran organizations.
Once a dog has been certified in CGC, therapy of Psychiatric services, Foundations and corporate sponsors who donate into the Rehabilitation & Training Fund can be proud to know that their resources will sponsor veterans on a limited income to house, feed and transport the veteran during their stay. A photo of the veteran with their dog and their story will be sent to sponsors letting them see and get to know the Minnesota vet they have helped rehabilitate.
Each veteran will train along side their new companion and the certified trainer to maximize the longevity of the program and for annual refresher training courses. We invite Corporate Sponsors, Donors and Foundations, Trusts and community giving programs offering such grants and funding to please forward that information with contact and link information via the contact form below.
Your help and support will help save the life of a Minnesota vet and a Minnesota pet.
