We are pleased to announce that we have started the renovation project for Phase 1 of “Project Companion” on April 1, 2014.  Please take a few minutes to look over the flow chart below to see where you would be interested in volunteering your time and expertise. We were very excited to have partnered with RDO Equipment Rental from Burnsville, MN along with Ryan Miller the operator with soil removal and digging the trenches. Ryan was fantastic to work with and did an excellent job not to mention the cool equipment he gets to run. We also wish to thank Craig Johnson of Paladin Plumbing and his partner Jeremy for installing all the below grade plumbing and water lines. Their work was fast, efficient and ready for inspection in just 7 hours. We are so very appreciative that these companies share our vision and are so ready to help serve our wounded veterans with their time and equipment. 

At the bottom of this page is a form where you can enter in Phase 1 or Phase 2 and the tasks you wish to be considered for. This is a great opportunity for companies whose employees volunteer with charitable causes throughout their communities and for individuals with skills and passion to help build Minnesota’s first all veteran dog training facility for disabled veterans.  Check back often as these dates may change.

Phase 1-2 are completed with only air conditioning and duct work, drop ceiling and front office counter is all that is left. We have interviewed a very good candidate for the dog trainer position so once that position has been filled, we will announce who our new Master Trainer will be.
