Veterans & Volunteers Needed
PetsLoyal2Vets.org seeks veteran volunteers to join its growing team of volunteers in Minnesota’s 1st all veteran PTSD/TBI companion and therapy dog training center. Built by veterans for veterans, Project Companion will deeply serve our Minnesota vets in need of a companion or therapy dog free of charge to all veterans enrolled in our programs.
We are a Minnesota based non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that proudly connects veterans throughout Minnesota diagnosed with service connected Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) and physical assault traumas with a trained companion or therapy dog. Pets Loyal 2 Vets is not a “for profit” dog boarding, doggy day care or hunting dog training facility looking to capture Minnesota veterans and funding to help share expenses of a for profit operation. Our facility is dedicated entirely to veterans and no one else’s dogs or for profit purposes. We are fully IRS accredited and in good standing with the State of Minnesota as an accredited 501(c)(3) non-profit. All donations of money or materials are fully tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowable by law. Our entire building is dedicated 100% to training and supporting disabled Minnesota veterans.
As a volunteer, you can be proud that your expertise will help provide highly trained dogs to our service men and women. This is not just any training facility, but rather a companion, therapy and psychiatric service dog training facility specializing in customized certified dogs free to wounded Minnesota veterans.

We provide full veterinary care and placement in thoroughly screened residential homes until adoption.
Heading Home K9 Rescue is dedicated to rescuing homeless and unwanted animals. We are a non-profit, 501(c) 3-tax exempt, no-kill dog rescue and placement organization based in Minnesota. Although our focus is primarily on rescuing dogs, we sometimes rescue cats & kittens as well.
